Progetto di restauro degli apparati decorativi della Villa Reale di Monza

L’autrice del saggio, dopo aver sinteticamente richiamato tutte le tematiche del restauro concluso nel corpo centrale della Villa di prossima inaugurazione il 26 giugno 2014, sviluppa un’attenta e puntuale descrizione degli interventi di ‘cura’ della ‘pelle’ dell’edificio, da lei stessa progettati e diretti, riguardanti le decorazioni parietali su intonaco, le finiture a marmorino, le tele, le volte in stucco e le pavimentazioni in legno ed in marmo. Segnala anche le revisioni condotte ai prospetti est ed ovest dello stesso corpo centrale, il restauro della facciata sud e di tutti i serramenti lignei, sia interni che esterni. Le fasi dell’intervento svolto sono analiticamente proposte dalla progettista e direttrice dei lavori secondo questa sequenza: consolidamento strutturale, diagnostica sugli apparati decorativi e risultati della campagna analitica, valutazioni sullo stato di degrado, restauro degli apparati decorativi. Si precisa infine che l’intervento è stato esteso a tutti i piani del corpo centrale dell’edificio: piano terra, primo piano nobile, secondo piano nobile, Belvedere. Per quest’ultimo si è affidato il progetto di valorizzazione all’architetto Michele De Lucchi per ottenere uno spazio unitario altamente qualificato.

Restoration project of the decorative system of Villa Reale in Monza

The author of the paper synthetically shows all the restoration essay that took place inside the central body of the villa that will be inaugurate on the 26th of June 2014. At the same time she develops an accurate description of the intervention that has attended the ‘skin’ of the building. Putaturo has projected and directed the intervention on the wall decoration on plaster, on the ‘marmorino’ finish, on the canvas, on the stucco vault and on the wood and marble pavements. Furthermore she reveals the revisions on the central body’s western and eastern façades and the restoration on the southern one showing how the interior and exterior wood doors and windows have been treated. The paper analytically proposes the intervention phases in this order: structural reinforcement, diagnostics on decorations and analytic campaign’s results, evaluation of degradation, restoration of decorations. The intervention interested all the central body’s floor: first floor, first noble floor, second noble floor, and Belvedere. The architect Michele De Lucchi conceived a valorization project for the Belvedere with the aim of creating an high qualifying space.
