Consolidamento strutturale e recupero funzionale di quattro torri medievali comasche

Città dall’impronta fortemente medievale consolidata negli ultimi secoli col restauro dei suoi monumenti, Como ha, nelle cortine murarie che ne cingono il nucleo antico e in resti di fortificazioni periferiche, un peculiare e forte fattore di identificazione a scala urbana. Lo scritto, richiamando il saggio presentato dai medesimi autori sulla città medievale apparso sul precedente numero di questa stessa rivista, presenta in maniera semplice ma puntuale i risultati delle analisi conoscitive effettuate sulle torri medievali, suggerendone, in sintesi, anche alcune proposte operative per un recupero funzionale e un progetto di manutenzione straordinaria delle stesse.

Structural strengthening and functional recovery of four Medieval towers in Como

Como is a Medieval town strongly characterized by the strengthening of its monument that took place in the last few Centuries. On the wall around the ancient core and in the suburban fortifications the city has a peculiar and strong factor of urban identification. The paper reminds the article that the same authors published in this journal and it presents, in a simple and precise way, the results of the cognitive analysis made on the medieval towers. It also suggests some operative proposals for a functional recovery of these towers and a plan of extraordinary repairs.
