Il saggio descrive il museo della basilica di Sant’Eustorgio e le vicende storiche, remote e recenti, che hanno portato all’attuazione di un particolare modello di gestione del complesso monumentale e artistico da parte di una comunità parrocchiale particolarmente consapevole del proprio passato, e impegnata nel testimoniare i valori di spiritualità e di fede per mezzo del patrimonio artistico di cui è custode.

This paper describes the museum of St. Eustorgio basilica’s and its historical events, ancient and recent, which have led to the accomplishment of an unique management model of monumental and artistic ensemble: a parish community particularly aware of its past is devoted to witness to the values of spirituality and faith by means of the artistic heritage of which is the custodian.
